St. Michael’s Cathedral is the largest Catholic church in Qingdao, built 1932-1934 by German architects. Twin-spired Neo-Romanesque structure dominates the Old Town skyline. Interior: soaring vaulted ceilings, intricate stained glass, pipe organ. Active parish — Sunday Mass in Chinese, visitors welcome. The square in front is a popular wedding photography spot. Climb the bell tower for a panorama of Old Town rooftops. Y=10 entry.
